I'm trying to do a test rebuild of the archive with gcc-defaults and
glibc from experimental.  However, I'm starting to run into failures
like this one in python2.7:

checking whether the C compiler works... no
configure: error in `/build/python2.7-2.7.11/build-static':
configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables

It would be nice if we could get an update to gcc-defaults in
experimental as well.
