Bug#796855: gcc-5: guile-2.0 fails to build with offset problem on armel
Hello,

I have done a quick test on abel.debian.org. Here the results:
We seem to hint a bug in the optimizer leading to bogus assembler...
/tmp/ccLL4a9g.s: Assembler messages:
/tmp/ccLL4a9g.s:13539: Error: bad immediate value for offset (4096)
I have collected few files to be able to reproduce the issue (it might
need some clean up):
https://people.debian.org/~zumbi/tmp/guile-2.0-fault.tgz
To reproduce, on armel machine: cd guile-2.0-fault/test-case ; ./run.sh
Maybe someone with more time and knowledge can look at those and
send them upstream?
As a workaround, if you build package with -O2 (no optimization the
package seems to build fine on abel.d.o):
dpkg-deb: building package 'guile-2.0' in
'../guile-2.0_2.0.11+1-9.1_armel.deb'.
dpkg-deb: building package 'guile-2.0-dev' in
'../guile-2.0-dev_2.0.11+1-9.1_armel.deb'.
dpkg-deb: building package 'guile-2.0-doc' in
'../guile-2.0-doc_2.0.11+1-9.1_all.deb'.
dpkg-deb: building package 'guile-2.0-libs' in
'../guile-2.0-libs_2.0.11+1-9.1_armel.deb'.
dpkg-genchanges >../guile-2.0_2.0.11+1-9.1_armel.changes
