Bug#730654: gfortran-4.7 -static and libquadmath
Package: gfortran-4.7
Version: 4.7.2-5
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
Occasionally we need to compile some fortran programs using the -static option
to gfortran-4.7 so that we can use the resulting executable on a linux
webserver that is out of our control.
Running the following command...
gfortran -static filename.f -o output
does not include libquadmath.so.0 into the output executable so it will not
work on the webserver.
For info, doing the same under Debian Squeeze works perfectly.
Many thanks
Paul.
