Packaging GCC plugin

Dear Debian GCC maintainers,

As a prerequisite for packaging Lua modules [1] for scientific
computation, I would like to package the Lua plugin for GCC [2].

Do you have any suggestions or guidelines for packaging GCC plugins?

It would be sufficient to have one version of the binary package of
the plugin, which depends on the GCC version provided by gcc-defaults.
