Bug#686802: libitm1: inconsistent package description
Package: libitm1
Version: 4.7.1-7
Severity: minor
Tags: lfs
Dear Maintainer,
the following packages:
libitm1, lib32itm1, lib64itm1,
libitm1-dbg, lib32itm1-dbg, lib64itm1-dbg
have an inconsistent package description:
"This manual documents the usage and internals of libitm. It provides
transaction support for accesses to the memory of a process, enabling easy-to-
use synchronization of accesses to shared memory by several threads."
Obviously, it's not a manual there, so the description text should be replaced
with something like this:
"GNU Transactional Memory Library (libitm) provides transaction support for
accesses to the memory of a process, enabling easy-to-use synchronization of
accesses to shared memory by several threads."
