Subject: libobjc3: may conflict with libobjc2
Package: libobjc3
Version: 4.6.0-10
Severity: normal

*** Please type your report below this line ***
I stumbled on this bug while compiling and trying to use The Unarchiver,
see this report:
http://code.google.com/p/theunarchiver/issues/detail?id=370

As I wrote there, while compiling I had this warning:

/usr/bin/ld: warning: libobjc.so.2, needed
by /usr/lib/gcc/i486-linux-gnu/4.6.1/../../../../lib/libgnustep-base.so,
may conflict with libobjc.so.3

Then I tried to run the executables (unar and lsar) and I got a
segfault.
I run `gdb unar` to get more information and I found again libobjc.so.3
(see the full log in the attachment in the link above):

Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
0xb7901cc3 in sel_register_name () from /usr/lib/libobjc.so.3

wrong. the two library versions have to be co-installable. please ask the
gnustep package maintainers about the status of the transition.
