"Broken" Linux kernel and binutils from 2.21-branch/upstream

Hi,

approx. a week ago I asked also here while digging into a breakage in
linux-next with Debian's binutils.
The discussion between binutils and kernel developers was emotional
and vital :-).

Today, a patch [1] was committed to binutils/upstream with an option
to report bad .size directives as errors or warnings (binutils/as).

Together with 2 other patches (sent to this ML) I have built a new
binutils package (see also my report on binutils ML [2]).
Here my dsc and diff - base was binutils (2.21.0.20110302-2).

Have fun!
