Hi, I'm assuming that the system you found ppl to FTBFS on is the same you reported the problem from, which was a Debian/lenny system. For the reasons detailed below I will close this bug. Should my assertion of a Debian/lenny system not be correct, please reopen the bug and provide further information. > Package: ppl > Version: 0.10.2 This version ^^^^ is in squeeze and unstable only, and nobody claimed it would be compatible with lenny. > Severity: important > Justification: fails to build from source > > When build package: > > > /bin/sh: swipl-ld: command not found > > Source package doesnt have swi-prolog-nox dependency. > I don't think this actually fixes the problem, and even more so as swi-prolog-nox is in squeeze/sid only. The issue is that swipl-ld was called plld in earlier versions (such as those sitting in lenny), hence the incompatibility. Best regards, MichaelAttachment: pgptBEOGdQUzr.pgp
