Bug#605593: synaptic gfortran versioning wrong in lenny and sid

Package: gfortran
Version: 4:4.3.2-2
Severity: normal

On 12/1/2010 the gfortran listed in synaptic, gfortran 4.4, doesn't actually do
anything and leaves 4.3 in place when downloaded. In addition the
version in sid (4.4) while downloading doesn't update /usr/bin/gfortran
to point to the 4.4 version.  This became apparent when compiling sage;
after relinking /usr/bin/gfortran to 4.4 it seems to be compiling fine.
