Thanks for the unbelievably quick reply, I'm impressed !

I must apologize - I spent half a day on this, and now it turns out that
the test-image I used to install a lenny openvz container contained
files that should not be there :(

I'm closing this bug, and then I'm getting some coffee and some fresh
air.
