regarding Suggests: g77-3.4-doc -- but no such package exists
to be marked as done.

This means that you claim that the problem has been dealt with.

Bug report if necessary, and/or fix the problem forthwith.

o what is the latest g77 documentation package?  All I can find is
g77-2.95-doc, which seems a bit antiquated.

closing bugs for gcc-3.4, which won't be fixed. either the binary
package is not built anymore in unstable, or we will not fix this in
3.4.
