Bug#494962: gnat-4.3 fails to build gnat-4.4 from source

It occurs to me that maybe patching the build machinery to ensure that we
build xeinfo using the just-built (stage 1) compiler instead of
/usr/bin/gnatmake would solve the problem.

Matthias and Dave, does any one of you have time to try this?

If the proposed patch does fix the problem, it would prove that this is
really an upstream bug in the build machinery; stage 2 should not depend
on the bootstrap environment at all.
