| This bug was fixed in 4.1.1-9 afaik, and etch shipped with 4.1.1-21.

No beans. I was just discussing with Kurt Hornik, one of the R Core
developers, and CRAN maintainers, why building of my RQuantLib /
r-cran-quantlib takes so long. The issue is not solved as far as I can
tell. The linking of complicated / templated C++ code can still take
aaaaaaggggggeeeeeessss --- around 20 minutes on recent hardware, around 28
minutes on my somewhat dated by largeish memory server.

I wouldn't close the bug. But I have too little time for follow-ups to reopen
it, I simply CC the BTS here.
