Package: gcc-4.2
Version: 4.2.2-3
Severity: important
Hello,
gcc-4.2 (and others) dies building sks-ecc[0] on powerpc in the
following situations.
GCC Opt -funroll-loops Result
4.1 O2 Yes OK
4.2 O2 Yes ICE
4.2 O1 Yes ICE
4.2 O0 Yes OK
4.2 O2 No OK
4.3 O2 Yes ICE
4.3 O2 No OK
Gcc-4.3 is provided by gcc-snapshot 20070916-1, since 20071116-1 is not
built for powerpc yet.
Some build logs, the preprocessed offending file (mpi.c) and package
sources are available at http://people.debian.org/~nacho/debian/ice-ppc-sks/
Let me know if you need more debug.
