According to

<http://buildd.debian.org/fetch.php?&pkg=ginac&ver=1.3.5-1&arch=arm&stamp=1155852602&file=log&as=raw>,the current GiNaC package FTBFS on arm.


With access to an arm system, it will be very easy to gather the
preprocessed source file and submit it upstream. I recommend doing
that.
