i tried to build 1.33.1-5 on my i386 and 1.33.1+1.34.0-cvs20060531-1
on hppa/paer (to see if -mlong-calls switch is still required, as you
asked in #342267). obviously i have not the build log on hppa any more,
but IIRC it fails the same way.
