Bug#361904: I'm unconvinced

Hello,

I just updated the affected packages on my system, and still get the
original problem:

# /etc/init.d/apt-proxy start
Starting apt-proxy
Failed to load application: libstdc++.so.6: cannot handle TLS data
.

after I did

# /usr/bin/apt-get -f install   gcc-4.1
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
gcc-4.1 is already the newest version.
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 792 not upgraded.

and

# /usr/bin/apt-get install    libstdc++6
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
libstdc++6 is already the newest version.
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 792 not upgraded.

I'm currently unable to upgrade libc6 since it wants to remove my
running kernel (2.4.27 which I can't upgrade right now).

Any other ideas?

TIA!

Best,
--Toni++
