dpkg-buildpackage and gcc-3.4-base

Hi,
I'm porting (at least for me) the slind toolchains
(http://www.emdebian.org/slind.html) to powerpc. I have a
dependancy problem during install of some package, I need
gcc-3.4-base. As I think the one from sarge (gcc3.4-3.4.3)
isn't helpful, because the one from slind used gcc3.4-3.4.4, I
need to build it. I tried some commands without success, so I
come here to request some help. What are the options and/or
env to pass to dpkg-buildpackage to generate gcc-3.4-base ?
