Bug#364412: g++-4.0: problem with #pragma interface and templates turning back?

I am feeling exactly the same problems as the ones reported in the  gcc 
bugzilla bug report 21280. That is using #pragma interface and 
templates gives "inline function used but never defined" 
warnings and failure with missing symbols at link time.

The gcc bugzilla report status is RESOLVED but, as far as it concerns 
to version 4.0.3-1, it seems not to be
