Package: java-gcj-compat
Version: 1.0.51-1

The issue seems to rely in the gcj/gij packages. Since I updated to
version 4.0.2-7 (and -7j1) of the gcj packages, Eclipse crashes every once
in a while, usualy after about an hour of usage. I don't use Eclipse for
building java-programs, so that's not the issue, I run Eclipse using the
gcj/gij/jvm stuff. It's very hard to reconstruct the scenario, it just
happens several times a day without me doing anything special, just
writing code in the editor.

Eclipse gives this crash info:

JVM terminated. Exit code=1
/usr/lib/jvm/java-gcj/bin/java
-Djava.library.path=/usr/lib/jni
-Dgnu.gcj.precompiled.db.path=/var/lib/gcj-4.0/classmap.db
-Dgnu.gcj.runtime.VMClassLoader.library_control=never
-Dosgi.locking=none
-jar /usr/lib/eclipse/startup.jar
-os linux
-ws gtk
-arch x86
-launcher /usr/lib/eclipse/eclipse
-name Eclipse
-showsplash 600
-exitdata e8010
-install /usr/lib/eclipse
-vm /usr/lib/jvm/java-gcj/bin/java
-vmargs
-Djava.library.path=/usr/lib/jni
-Dgnu.gcj.precompiled.db.path=/var/lib/gcj-4.0/classmap.db
-Dgnu.gcj.runtime.VMClassLoader.library_control=never
-Dosgi.locking=none
-jar /usr/lib/eclipse/startup.jar

It had never happened before I updated the packages (I might've updated
the java-gcj-compat as well, I update everything frequently) from the
unstable tree.

dpkg -l | grep -E "gcj|gij|java|jar" | awk '{print $1" "$2" "$3}'
