Package: libstdc++6
Version: 3.4.1-4sarge1
Severity: minor

libstdc++6 depends on gcc-3.4-base which contains doc files only:

# dpkg -L gcc-3.4-base
/.
/usr
/usr/share
/usr/share/doc
/usr/share/doc/gcc-3.4-base
/usr/share/doc/gcc-3.4-base/TODO.Debian
/usr/share/doc/gcc-3.4-base/copyright
/usr/share/doc/gcc-3.4-base/README.Debian.gz
/usr/share/doc/gcc-3.4-base/NEWS.Debian.gz
/usr/share/doc/gcc-3.4-base/changelog.Debian.gz
/usr/share/doc/gcc-3.4-base/changelog.gz

This dependency doesn't make much sense and should be removed.

cu, Uwe

the dependency makes sense, in sid, libstdc++6 doesn't have these
