I have just tried to build this file with gcc-snapshot, and it builds 
without ICE. Note that I also get an ICE with gcc-4.0_4.0.2-9 (version 
from incoming.d.o). Next step is to try with gcc-4.1 (from 
experimental), I will try this evening.
