Ok, the bug has been fixed. It was causing any architecture to die on NPTL build with -g1 with 3.4. The patch below should be applied on debian's 3.4 package asap so we can start using it for building experimental glibc :) http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-patches/2005-05/msg00685.html Ben.
