Why?

One is versioned in the name, and it's clear.
The other is not versioned, so instinctively I'd guess it refers to the
default g++. That's the way debian package policies usually use, AFAIK.

I don't care, I only would like the idea behind.

Anyway:

Yes, but I need a run-time dep, it's a C++ library and build-essentials
is not mandatory for users.
