I can no longer reproduce this, and yes, atlas3 is up to date now on
mips/mipsel.  I do not know if this is accidental or not, but as far
as atlas is concerned, this bug can be closed.  For the sake of
completeness, the following toolchain changes accompanied the
autobuilder 'fix':
