Bug#203023: g++-2.95.4 woody/stable crashes on syntax error

The issue was marked as resolved because soon they are
dropping support for gcc 2.95.x. in favor of 3.x

basically, by compiling this snippet with 'g++ -ggdb
t.cpp':
// SNIPPET - compile with -ggdb
class c1 : public c2 () {};
c1::c1() {}
// END SNIPPET
gcc -v on gcc's that crash on this:
:gcc version 2.95.4 20011002 (Debian prerelease)
:GNU C++ version 2.95.2 20000220 (Debian GNU/Linux)
(i386-linux) compiled by GNU
C version 2.95.2 20000220 (Debian GNU/Linux)
:gcc version 2.95.2 20000220 (Debian GNU/Linux)
however, this bug is fixed in:
:gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.3
2.96-110)
:gcc version 3.0.4
error message:
Naturally, the regular syntax error is the () after
c2, but g++ does this:
NOTE! without -ggdb this code just is a syntax error
and not a crash.
