Bug#201550: gcc-3.3: {hppa} [3.2->3.3 regression] ICE when building hdf5 with -O2/-O3

hdf5 fails to build on hppa with this error:

The bug happens with gcc-3.3 when using -O2 or -O3, not with gcc-3.2.
