Package: gcc-3.3
Version: 1:3.3-2
Severity: important

When compiling the smlnj-runtime package, I get errors like these when
compiling X86.prim.asm:
../mach-dep/X86.prim.asm:84:24: pasting "ML_X86Frame" and ":" does not
give a valid preprocessing token
../mach-dep/X86.prim.asm:141:26: pasting "sigh_return_a" and ":" does
not give a valid preprocessing token

But these are valid tokens for assembly. I am using the
"-x assembler-with-cpp" option and in this case, ## is not being used.

This package compiled fine under gcc 3.2.

The input is invalid, becase... *drumroll* ... pasting "sigh_return_a"
and ":" does not give a valid preprocessing token. Apparently, this is
fixed upstream now in smlnj.
