Any g++ compiler options not supported by gcc

Hi,
  I was using g++ compiler to compile and run my C++ files on linux, but  we are planning
to use only gcc compiler in a production environment. My current application compiles and runs with
gcc compiler. Are there any ramifications by going to gcc from g++.  Are there any compiler/preprocessor
flags that are supported only by g++ compiler.

I would appreciate your feedback on this.
