Bug#205209: gcc: package description improvement
Package: gcc
Version: 3:3.3-1
Severity: normal
Tags: patch
Hello,
I suggest you remove the end of the description '(version x.x.x for
architecture i386)'.
It adds no info and is only valid for one architecture and so useless
for all others. There is no reason why this architecture have this info
here and not the others. Moreover translator of the description has to
change this and proofreaders has to read this description again and
again each time the version changes, this make lot of unnecessary work.
Regards
Nicolas Bertolissio
