possible dejagnu problems???

Matthias,
In comparing the current failures in the new build of 3.3-0pre9
on debian ppc sid to those Mark Mitchell obtained on a YDL ppclinux
box (http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-testresults/2003-05/msg00553.html)
I noticed that we are failing 2 extra c++ tests...

FAIL: g++.dg/parse/crash2.C (test for errors, line 5)
FAIL: g++.dg/parse/crash2.C (test for excess errors)

as well as an extra gcc test...

FAIL: gcc.c-torture/execute/991221-1.c compilation, -O0

You may want to repeat this build with the older dejagnu 1.4.2-1.1
debian package installed rather than the current 1.4.3-0.1 in sid.
I say that because I noticed in doing a local build of the new
binutils 2.14.90.0.1 on debian ppc sid, that I was getting 4 binutils
tests UNTESTED which didn't happen on YDL ppclinux. After regressing
dejagnu down to 1.4.2-1.1, those UNTESTED binutils tests became normal
passes again. Apparently HJ and other using redhat are still on 1.4.2
and haven't run into these oddities yet.
                             Jack
ps I have reported this already against debian dejagnu.
