On intel platform...
Installing the libgc6-dev package solves the basic build problem:
dpkg-deb: building package `gcc-3.3-base' in
`../gcc-3.3-base_3.3-0pre0_i386.deb'.
touch stamps/08-binary-stamp-base
make[1]: Leaving directory `/etc/apt/gcc-3.3-3.3ds0'
dpkg-genchanges -b
dpkg-genchanges: binary-only upload - not including any source code
dpkg-buildpackage: binary only upload (no source included)
Install is still getting from the ftp server...
Get:1 http://ftp.au.debian.org unstable/main gcc-3.3-base 1:3.3-0pre0
[42.1kB]
How do I change this? Can I build and install in one step?
