Bug#152198: libffi2-dev: Wrong Copyright/License information (and README)

Package: libffi2-dev
Version: 1:3.1.1-0pre2
Severity: serious
Justification: Policy 2.1.6

Hi!

Currently, the libffi2 & libffi2-dev packages point their
/usr/share/doc/libffi2* link to GCC's doc directory.

But, libffi has its own Copyright and license statement as well as a
very useful README file describing the API in the
gcc-3.1-3.1.1ds1/gcc-20020606/libffi directory (if you unpack the all
the package sources). It even contains relevant ChangeLog files.

The distribution terms in the file LICENSE are very different from
GCC's.

Thanks.

Etienne

PS: Personally, I think that the libffi* source package would ideally
be independent from the gcc source package, unless there's a good
reason not to.
