Bug#142703: sword 1.5.3-1 will not build on alpha with assembler error with map templates

sword 1.5.3-1 will not build on alpha. 

the error is for compiling file src/mgr/swmgr.cpp which includes map templates
/tmp/ccKKCGvE.s: Assembler messages:
/tmp/ccKKCGvE.s:422: Fatal error: string too big (8871 bytes)

tested it on escher and it will build if -g is not in CXXFLAGS.
for sword 1.5.3-2 have specified that -g is not to be used for alpha.
