RE: Installing

Title: RE: Installing

Matthias,

Sorry about the HTML mail, I will send ascii in the future. :(

The release that I would like to patch are the 3.0.X releases from GCC,
currently I am testing with 3.0.3, but 3.0.4 is out already.

That script will apply all the patches and create a deb out of it.

>>"dpkg-buildpackage "-rfakeroot --" -b -B"
thanks, i will read up on that one.

I am hoping to be able to produce a proper DEB of a patch of the compiler that I am working on,
and would like to be able to keep it up to date and with testing of the work that you are doing.

Bye the way, I will be in Berlin next weekend, if you have the time for a coffee, we could meet.

Gruß,
Mike

it's an (unpublished) script, which creates a tarball from the CVS
directory.

dpkg-buildpackage "-rfakeroot --" -b -B

or download the binaries.
