Bug#115299: gpc 2:2.95.4-7 install fails if old gpc-doc is installed
Package: gpc
Version: 2:2.95.4-6
Severity: important
Preparing to replace gpc 2:2.95.4-6 (using
.../gpc_2%3a2.95.4-7_i386.deb) ...
Unpacking replacement gpc ...
dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/gpc_2%3a2.95.4-7_i386.deb (--unpack):
trying to overwrite /usr/share/doc/gpc', which is also in package gpc-doc
Errors were encountered while processing:
/var/cache/apt/archives/gpc_2%3a2.95.4-7_i386.deb
Although the gpc-doc (version 2.92.2-20) apparently is being phased
out in favour of gpc-2.95-doc package, I would like that there would
be some sort of additional dependency, which would take care of this
erroneous combination.
