Problem with mod_auth_mysql and libc6 2.1.96-1

Package: apache
Version: 1.3.12-2.1
Severity: important

Hello!

Since I've upgraded my woody box with the lastest libc6, mod_auth_mysql
is not longer working (the system was working fine before the upgrade).
If the module is activated in the http.conf only one Apache proccess is
started. This proccess use 99% of the cpu!!! If I comment mod_auth_mysql,
all is back fine.

If I stop Apache with /etc/init.d/apache stop, I got:

/usr/sbin/apachectl stop: httpd (no pid file) not running

But one Apache proccess is running! I've to kill it manualy.

For the test, I also removed all the config lines concerning
mod_auth_mysql in the http.conf. I only let this line:
LoadModule auth_mysql_module /usr/lib/apache/1.3/mod_auth_mysql.so

I have no associated message in the Apache logs, syslog and MySQL logs.
