(Fwd) Important: take a break from translating

Either people didn't read the last few posts I made about
translations or
I didn't state things explicitly enough.
YOU SHOULD HOLD OFF ON TRANSLATING FROM THE
ENGLISH PAGES FOR ANOTHER DAY
OR TWO.
There are many changes being made to the english directory. The
content hasn't changed very much, but the Makefiles have been
completely redone and more has been moved into the template
files. If you update while we are still making changes you will
simply be creating work for yourself.
The changes should make it much less likely that translators will
make changes that will introduce bugs that cause the Makefiles to
fail. Also, by moving more of the wml specifics out of the .wml files,
translators will have fewer decisions to make. In particular, the
#!wml ....
line at the start of files is no longer needed as the Makefiles
explicitly state the output file when they call wml. If you remove the
line before updating
the Makefiles, all wml output will go to stdout (the spanish pages
have this problem currently with some files).
If you were having any problems before, make them known now so
they can be fixed now. Update your version of the english pages
and you can see what has been done.
