Liste des traductions en cours ou en projet
Si vous souhaitez apporter vous aussi votre pierre à l'édifice Debian
mais que vous n'avez pas l'envie ou les moyens de devenir un
développeur, alors le projet de traductions des documents Debian est
aussi pour vous. Suivant son inclination et sa disponibilité, il est
possible de passer quelques minutes à relire ou plusieurs heures à
traduire un document de cette liste.

Ce message est posté régulièrement (tous les 10 jours environ) sur
[1]debian-french pour faire le point sur les traductions en cours ou
en projet concernant le site www.debian.org et les documentations de
Debian.
Si vous désirez simplement compléter ou modifier une entrée dans cette
liste, vous pouvez écrire à l'adresse [2]<clebars@debian.org>.
Les notes de relecture doivent être envoyées directement au traducteur
qui centralise les modifications du document concerné.
Avant de traduire un document, il est préférable de signaler
publiquement son intention sur la liste [3]debian-french.
Il s'agit le plus souvent de traduire les sources : en général SGML
pour les manuels et WML pour les pages du site web. Les indications
pour récupérer les sources WML des pages web sont dans le
[4]HOWTO_translate. Le [5]manuel de Debiandoc-SGML explique les
différents aspects de la DTD SGML de Debian. Mais traduire ne
nécessite pas l'apprentissage de WML ou de SGML...
Rappel aux traducteurs : n'oubliez pas de prévenir lors du changement
de statut d'un document et d'envoyer les dernières versions de vos
documents pour qu'ils soient inclus sur le site web et/ou dans le
paquet doc-debian-fr.
Cette liste est consultable en permanence sur le web [6]au format
HTML.
On peut aussi trouver sur le web [7]les dernières versions HTML et les
sources SGML des documents déjà traduits.

Normes concernant les traductions:
* Une personne ne peut travailler simultanément que sur une seule
traduction.
* Une traduction non-terminée 2 mois après son commencement
redevient non-attribuée à nouveau une fois le traducteur contacté.
* Pour les très longs documents, il est fortement conseillé de ne
traduire - et donc de ne mobiliser - qu'une partie du document.
* Le traducteur d'un document est prioritaire lors de l'attribution
de la version suivante.
