[Freedombox-discuss] what is a useful MOTD?

I am thinking about what information should be displayed when you first log in.

What would you like to see when you open a command line session?

What about running something like this?

#!/bin/bash

# idea for MOTD-style info

echo "

echo "Your interfaces"
/sbin/ip addr list
echo "
