Dear Maintainer,
After a routine `apt-get update; apt-get dist-upgrade`, several packages are 'kept back', including 'libgraphite2-3'.
Please see #1125764 regarding libasyncns0 -- this is the exact same situation, only the names and version numbers are changed.
TLDR: package has :amd64 and :i386 arch builds; the :amd64 package states that it 'Breaks:' the i386 package of different versions. But the NMU uploaded only :amd64, so that package cannot be updated on systems with both arch packages installed.
Again, see #1125764 for more details.

Hi,
you say "libgraphite2-3: NMU upload of only libgraphite2-3:amd64 breaks libgraphite2-3:i386". That one is not true. There was no "ibgraphite2-3: NMU upload of *only* libgraphite2-3:amd64"
It was actually scheduled for *all* archs (unfortunately), probably due to the multi-arch nonsense, even when it was only needed on arm64 only.
i386 is AFAICS still in the build queue. You could have looked that up yourself:
https://buildd.debian.org/status/package.php?p=graphite2
Needs-Build 1182 Too many results, cannot display
Could take some time..
Just wait. If you can't handle stuff like this temporarily yourself, don't use sid (or don't mix i386 into your system, but here it would possibly affect other arch combinations as well, but those do even make lesser sense at all.)
Closing, this is not a bug in the package and will sort itself out when i386 is built.
Regards,
Rene
