Package: gsfonts-x11
Version: 0.16
Severity: grave

When I install gsfonts-x11, a number of negative side-effects occur:

- KDM starts to use ugly non-AA fonts in its UI
- Mozilla (and Galeon) go into giganto-fonts mode, and Galeon starts
using the ugly non-AA fonts for its UI. This renders both of these
(more or less essential) packages unusable.
- A number of other packages lose AA in their UI.

All I have to do to get the system to go back to normal is comment out
/usr/lib/X11/fonts/Type1 from /etc/X11/XF86Config and then restart X,
-or- (at my option) uninstall gsfonts-x11. As soon as I do either of
these things the problems go away; as soon as undo them, the problems
come back.

Once again without the epoch. Does the BTS track source or binary
package versions?
