Bug#977538: fonts-agave: does not follow upstream's recommended build procedure
Package: fonts-agave
Version: 35-2
Severity: normal
Hi Gürkan,
I see that the Agave fonts are build from their SFD sources with a
pretty simple "open and save as OTF" rule. However, upstream provides
some pretty detailed build instructions on the project page.
Especially, the fonts are build in TTF format and there is an
additional step that involves running ttfautohint over the generated
font files:
https://github.com/blobject/agave#build
Please consider adapting the Debian packaging to these build
instructions. If you need any help with this, please don't hesitate
to ask.
Thanks!
