Bug#977501: xfonts-unifont: Cannot set Unifont in Gvim
Package: xfonts-unifont
Version: 1:11.0.03-1
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
I cannot use Unifont in neither Gtk-Gvim nor Athena-Gvim. It raises an error
E236: Font "-*-unifont-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-c-*-*-*" is not fixed-width
E596: Invalid font(s): gfn=-*-unifont-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-c-*-*-*
I had reported this initially as a Vim bug at
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=973670
but was instructed that the bug was in Unifont's side:
"This error comes directly from comparing the XFontStruct's
min_bounds.width and max_bounds.width values."
Thank you for your attention.
