could somebody look into making a new release of the indian fonts
Dear Fonts team,
Please CC me as I'm not subscribed to the mailing list.
For last several days, I have been fighting the Indian fonts I have
installed, although some of the bugs were supposed to be fixed.
I filed #909058 and came to know that most of the bugs or issues that
I have been already been reported with some people also sharing some
partial solutions in other bug-reports.
I came to know rather late that now all fonts are with the
Debian-fonts-team and not debian-in-workers even though
debian-tracker, debian-bts still shows debian-in as the team who is
tasked with maintaining the fonts.

This is not just with fonts-telu-extra but is state of all Indian
fonts. Quite a few of the fonts are still with the dpkg-new/
directory/folder issue . I am open to test the new fonts as and when
they are made available either in testing/unstable/sid or even
experimental.
