Hi,

Do you need fonts-font-awesome 5 for one of your package ?
fonts-font-awesome is stuck to v4 because of breaking changes in v5 that
break many packages (see #899124).

fonts-font-awesome v5+ will be added as a new package later.

One potential issue with fonts-font-awesome 5 is that upstream changed
their build system and now, the build system is closed source while the
actual sources files (otf font, js, svg, less, sass and maybe other) are
available.
The upstream repository contains a mix of source files and generated
files so I asked them which file are the source and which files are
generated (see [0]) to be able to rebuild the generated files from sources.
