The changes look good to me. I'd be willing to upload the package this
evening if you wish.

I would even go as far as declaring the way you handled WOFF fonts here as
"best practive" and update our font packaging policy accordingly to
include an additional stanza that explicitely covers web-only fonts.
Something along these lines:
"Fonts in so-called web formats like WOFF, that are not supposed to be
made available to applications, get installed into
/usr/share/<packagename>/<format> and may get symlinked to other places in
the file system where they are needed, e.g. package documentation."

But I guess I'll be facing opposition in this regard...
