Package: fonts-liberation
Version: 2.00.1-1
Severity: normal

Using gucharmap 1:3.8.2-2 to view Liberation Serif characters with "Show only
glyphs from this font" enabled, the glyph for U+266B BEAMED EIGHTH NOTES shows
what is clearly beamed sixteenth notes instead; it should have only one beam
rather than two. FontForge confirms this after opening
LiberationSerif-Regular.ttf with SHA-256 =
ea76595ed32ec4bb117fc715e393b4cca3d42cabe53101baec6bbbeb800fa26a.

The glyph for U+266C BEAMED SIXTEENTH NOTES is correct.

Version: 1.07.4-1

Hi,

this bug has been fixed upstream with release 1.07.3 and so it's now
fixed in Debian version 1.07.4-1.
I checked and I can confirm the fix.

I'm a bit puzzled about the versioning here: apparently upstream uses
two different branches (1.07 onward and 2.00) for development.
The Debian package in stable/testing/sid is based on the 1.N version,
while the 2.N version was used to build the package for experimental.
It seems now that only experimental is affected.

I'm closing it, considering that experimental is not a "real" release
but please feel free to reopen it if my reasoning is not correct.

Thanks,
Francesca
