(apt-pining can go wrong, misunderstood, etc. - also some people only have access to a local mirror which only caries stable + stable-backports etc.) - what works for some (apt-pining) doesnt work for everyone. I *never* have testing in my sources lists for stable systems. Why risk havoc... Also, a backport doesnt do harm, so yay, I'd say. cheers, Holger
