Dear Maintainer,
the fonts-font-awesome package only contains the fonts itself but not
the less file which is used to generate css files (via lessc) display
the fonts on a website, this e.g. forces owncloud to use the embed copy
of the file leaving it in a possibly inconsistent state to the package
fonts.
The ipython packge will also be affected by this in the next version.

Please install font-awesome.less in the package too.

Sure I thought those files are not used (I'm not aware of less stuff) so
I didn't install them. Just wondering where should I drop those
files. is /usr/share/fonts-font-awesome/less is fine? or is there any
policy on where I should drop it?

Also there is bundled scss and css files are those useful shall I
install them too?

Some folder with a layout as close as possible to the original upstream in usr/share/<package-name> seems like a good way to do it.
That allows e.g. symlinking everything into rdependencies with dh_linktree.
I think the layout of the built font-awesome is a folder with:
css/ font/ less/
(please verify I too am not so familiar with the web-stuff common practices)
font could be skipped or filled with symlinks to the proper debian locations. The generated css files should probably also be installed, that avoids the need of rdepends to generate them themselves with lessc.
